Fascinated by exploring the borders between painting and photography, I enjoy the use of creative methods such as intentional camera movement or multiple- and long exposures to abstract and create expressive photos.
My vision is to "draw with light" as the etymology of the word photography suggests: photós - "light"; graphé - "drawing".
A fleeting moment of sunbeams on water, an apple tree in full bloom during spring or water lilies swaying in ultramarine-blue water. There is an abundance of beauty in our seemingly ordinary surroundings. Acknowledging and embracing this simplistic beauty is what I am trying to convey to the viewers.
